Ankle Injury Rehab & Prevention Plan
As someone who’s had a debilitating ankle injury from football (soccer), I know how important strong, mobile and stable ankles are.
Strong feet/ankles are literally your base and foundation for sprinting, turning, jumping and more – the difference between high quality athletes is often how “elastic” your ankles are.
However, the other reason for training your foot/ankle strength is because, if your ankles are weak then your knees take over. And if you’ve ever had knee pain it’s not nice.
So good ankle training (and this workout) involves single-leg exercises and barefoot training for stability, plyometrics (jumping) for power and full range of motion movements for mobility.
Completely free, all I ask is for your email to join our upcoming newsletter which will have the movement, nutrition, recovery and stress management tips we live by :)
